  Me and my brother have been coming here for the last 7 plus years and have NEVER had a bad experience. Dr Mayuri Patel and her staff are so kind, polite, and really care about there patients. I actually enjoy going to the dentist because of them. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone that is searching for an orthodontist. They truly deserve this 5 start rating.

  Dr. Patel at Coast Dental Services is the WORST DOCTOR EVER! I originally had my first appointment scheduled for 3pm on Friday. The receptionist at the office called me at 2pm to see if I could arrive early. I explained that I was on my way, so I should arrive at 2:30pm. After having some car trouble I called at 2:45pm to let them know I would be a few minutes late. The receptionist said I would have to reschedule my appointment. I explained that this was not possible since I took off work early to make this appointment. She insisted that I would need to reschedule, so I asked to speak to the doctor. She explained that Dr. Patel was with another patient, so I would need to wait on the phone for her. After waiting a few minutes another receptionist came on the line asking who I was waiting for. I explained I was waiting for Dr. Patel. This receptionist said that Dr. Patel had already left for the day. I was literally walking into the office at 3:05 pm while I was on the phone with her. I asked why another receptionist had lied to me about Dr. Patel being with another patient. She did not know and apologized, but explained I would need to reschedule my appointment. I was furious that the doctor knew I was on my way for the first appointment and decided to LEAVE! On top of that someone lied to me about the doctor being with a patient. The receptionist refused to call the doctor so I could speak to her about this horrible experience. She only gave me the phone number to the corporate office and apologized again. I thought this would be a good office based on the reviews on their website, but it is not. I noticed today there are NO comments or ratings for 1 or 2 stars, so I don't believe they are posting all of the comments they receive except for the good ones. Don't make the same mistake I did. Look for a doctor that values your time instead of leaving just before your scheduled appointment time.
